Lets get back to Winning!

I’m just like any casual Chicago Sports fan. You want to see your city team win every time and brag about them to rival fans, but when it comes to the Chicago Bears, it takes a bit of work to defend them these past couple of seasons. After every loss, all I hear from rival fans is “ same ol Bears,” especially Packer fans.  I was wrong when I thought this season would be different against the Packers. Aaron Rodgers is no longer with the team, and the Bears still found a way to let us down. Like how! After watching that, I came to the conclusion that the Green Bay Packers organization is better than the Bears. From getting the right pieces for the team to calling the right plays from up top. So this is why I think the Chicago Bears lost focus and need to return to winning.

I don’t know if anyone else noticed, but ever since the NFC championship game back in 2011 vs. the Packers, they have never been the same. That loss changed the organization, in my opinion. I say that because, in the following season, most of the team said, “The main goal is to beat the Packers.” Look, I get it that the Championship game was like the Super Bowl for us fans of both teams, and it looks good on paper, but their main goal shouldn’t be to beat the Packers. The main goal is to win the Super Bowl. I believe that the organization and those who make the decisions up top became obsessed with beating Green Bay rather than winning the Super Bowl.

When it comes to rebuilding a team, it is best to take your time and make calculated decisions, not random ones. Interview the staff to know what they can and can not do. Draft good players and utilize them correctly. Don’t just make plays and say, “I think this a good play for them.” No, this is a good play for the team, is what they should be saying. The Bears had good players before, but they were never utilized correctly. How do you call our team “Monsters of the Midway” and go 5-11 in the season? That doesn’t make any sense at all. There will have to be some big organizational changes for the Bears to get back to winning. Now they are 0-4 to start the season. Every game now is a must win in the future. Im still rooting for the them to get a win against the Washington Commanders on Thursday. If they don’t get back focus quickly, this will be another disappointing season and the fans don’t want that.
